Can parfum (fragrance) - present in perfumes and deodorants - ever contain animal ingredients?

I mean can it be extracted from animals or is it always plants and other (non-animal) chemicals that are used to prepare it(?)Can parfum (fragrance) - present in perfumes and deodorants - ever contain animal ingredients?
Yes, ';musk'; is a good example. Can parfum (fragrance) - present in perfumes and deodorants - ever contain animal ingredients?
It's possible. If perfume contains real musk, that's extracted from animal glands. Most perfume makers use synthetic musk (because it's cheaper, not because of ethical concerns) but it's something you should check out if it concerns you. I don't think any deodorant has musk.
